The Union of Serbs of France has awarded the prestigious Golden Badge to 15-year-old accordion virtuoso from Bijeljina, Đorđe Perić, for his outstanding contribution to the preservation and promotion of Serbian culture around the world.
The award was presented to Đorđe as part of the jubilee 25th edition of the event “Days of Serbia and Serbian Culture,” traditionally held in Paris.
The Golden Badge symbolizes recognition of young artists whose work, achievements, and dedication contribute to the affirmation of Serbian art and identity beyond the borders of the homeland. Đorđe Perić is a prime example—a young virtuoso whose performances have been recognized not only in the Balkans but also across Europe and worldwide.
As part of the same event, Đorđe also held a solo concert in the packed hall of the Serbian Cultural Center in Paris, where he presented a diverse repertoire, showcasing exceptional technique, musicality, and emotional maturity far beyond his age.
The audience enthusiastically followed each of his performances, and the applause and reactions of those present once again confirmed that he is truly a gem of the art world.
Đorđe Perić is the recipient of numerous awards at international competitions and already has an impressive number of concerts and performances behind him. His dedication to music and the promotion of cultural values makes him one of the most promising young artists of today.
