The key word in the historic address by Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik in the National Assembly is invitation, and it is primarily addressed to foreign centers of power, said Professor Radomir Lukić of the Faculty of Law at the University of East Sarajevo in a statement to RTRS.
“Let the peoples of BiH and their political representatives be treated as politically mature,” Lukić emphasized.
The invitation to internal dialogue, he explained, is a call for a return to decentralization and to the only path on which BiH can be viable.
“This is one of Mr. Dodik’s most balanced public appearances since I have been following him on the political scene, and it absolutely fits this moment, just as his assessments are entirely balanced and in the interest not only of Republika Srpska and the Serb people, but also of all three constituent peoples and the citizens of Republika Srpska,” Lukić stated.
