Đokić: The non-paper is an attempt at political subjugation of Republika Srpska

The non-paper drafted by France and Germany is not just a form of political pressure—it is an attempt at institutional subjugation of Republika Srpska, aimed at suppressing the rights of its people, stated Petar Đokić, president of the Socialist Party.

“Throughout history, the most dangerous forms of oppression have always come under the guise of ‘well-intentioned reforms’ and ‘international stability,’ but the outcome has always been the same: an attempt to subject a people to the will of those who believe they can control the destinies of others,” Đokić emphasized.

He added that this document is not only a threat to the leadership of Republika Srpska, but a direct threat to every person who lives here, works here, and builds a future for their family.

“Sanctions, isolation, political dictates—these are all methods designed to force peoples to renounce their will and their freedom. Is this modern colonialism disguised as democracy?” Đokić asked.

If anyone believes that the people of Republika Srpska will yield to blackmail, they should study the history of the Serb people, Đokić warned.

“We remain committed to the principles of the Dayton Agreement and international law, and we will not allow ourselves to be treated as a political experiment. If they truly wish to be a decisive factor in this country, then they must clearly tell their loyalists in the Federation that dialogue with the legitimate representatives of the Serbs is the only path to a solution. Anything else is a waste of time and a guaranteed failure,” Đokić concluded.
