RTRS reveals identities behind provocation attempt in front of the Government’s Administrative Center in East Sarajevo

Amid the events in East Sarajevo, where members of SIPA attempted to deliver an arrest warrant to the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, RTRS has learned that the operation was led by Elvir Ademović, the brother of Kemal Ademović, former head of the Muslim intelligence service AID.

Among the individuals present was also Zijad Landžo, previously suspected of war crimes committed in Konjic during the 1990s.

Background on Landžo and Ademović:

In 2007, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH initiated an investigation against Zijad Landžo and Faik Špago for war crimes committed in the municipality of Konjic. Media reports from that time noted that both were employed by SIPA.

However, in 2009, under pressure from then international prosecutor David Schwendiman, who was widely criticized for his bias against Serbs, the investigation was suspended. Following complaints by the Association of Camp Detainees of Republika Srpska, the case was reopened two years later, initiated by Chief Prosecutor Milorad Barašin, just prior to his suspension.

Landžo and two others were suspected of having organized or directly participated in the killing of 48 Serbs in the village of Bradina near Konjic between 1992 and 1995, with the goal of ethnically cleansing the region of Serbs. Despite the gravity of the charges, the investigation mysteriously disappeared from the records of the Prosecutor’s Office — and Landžo ended up working for SIPA.

Also present today was Elvir Ademović, whose brother Kemal Ademović is a well-known operative of the Muslim intelligence network, an entity that, as many claim, still exerts considerable influence over the judiciary in the Federation of BiH, particularly the unconstitutional Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

The incident took place during an official meeting of President Dodik with mayors of East Sarajevo municipalities. The Republika Srpska police reacted promptly, instructing SIPA agents to leave the premises, deeming the action inappropriate and without coordination.

According to RTRS reporters on the scene, SIPA inspectors attempted to deliver a warrant to President Dodik, but were blocked by the police of Republika Srpska and told such action was not possible under current legal circumstances.

The inspectors subsequently withdrew.

This incident is being viewed as a politically charged provocation, and yet another example of targeted pressure against Republika Srpska’s institutions by unaccountable judicial and security structures.
