Dodik: Srpska will not submit to legal violence

“Who else in Europe over the past 100 years has had the power to write a law himself, sign it, declare it valid—and be accountable to no one for it? In Bosnia and Herzegovina today, there is one such man. A German. Unelected. Without legitimacy. Without a mandate. And he is the one demanding my arrest based on his own law—a law that has not passed through a single institution,” said Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.

“And all this is happening in the very week when the Serb people are commemorating Jasenovac—the greatest tragedy of our nation. A genocide committed under the banner of Nazi Germany. A crime that no one in Sarajevo has the courage to name, let alone speak the truth about—even today,” Dodik wrote on the social network X.

He emphasized that the symbolism is too heavy to be coincidental.

“Republika Srpska will not submit to legal violence. To political silencing. To humiliation through historical parallels that insult our victims, our will, and our right to live freely, in peace, and under our own laws. In the name of those who are no longer with us, and those yet to come: we will not bow before injustice. Never,” Dodik declared.
