The Palace of the Republic was illuminated tonight in the colors of the flags of Republika Srpska and Serbia to mark the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the NATO aggression.
The building displayed the date marking the beginning of the bombing, March 24, 1999, along with the message: “We will not forgive you for the children.”
During the NATO aggression on the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999, which lasted for 78 days, around 2,500 people were killed, including 79 children.
The bombing caused immeasurable material damage.
