Dodik: A wide hybrid operation is underway aimed at decapitating Republika Srpska

Republika Srpska is facing an organized hybrid operation aimed at politically decapitating it, and everything being done is geared toward stripping Srpska of its political leadership in order to weaken it and enable centralization, said the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

Dodik emphasized that the judicial persecution of him, the prime minister, and the speaker of the National Assembly is only one of the tools in this broader plan.

“They saw that the people stand with their Republic, that they can’t break us, so now they’re trying to do it through the judiciary, which is being used as an instrument of Bosniak politics,” Dodik stated.

He said that the judicial persecution he is facing is just the surface, and that the core issue is the violation of the entire foundation of society.

“A foreigner has declared it a criminal offense not to obey him. But on the other hand, my primary task is to make sure that no one disrespects my people and Republika Srpska. Do you think I opposed these impositions and endured this persecution just out of boredom?” Dodik asked.

The president of Republika Srpska stressed that Bosniaks shamefully and deviously accepted Schmidt’s decision so that he could go after the Serbs, believing that this would eliminate any future resistance.

“The plan was then to declare that property belongs to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and no one would have the will or courage to oppose it anymore. It’s naive to think this is all coincidental,” Dodik told Politika.

He noted that attempts to re-register property began over a year ago, but that they saw the people in Srpska were ready to unite in defense.

“They took seriously our warnings that we would declare independence if our property is touched. So, they decided to bring down the most prominent political and moral figures first, and then continue. But no one wants to acknowledge the reality in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Dodik.

He pointed out that completely separate lives are being lived on either side of the entity line, and that the past 30 years have essentially gone to waste.

“If we had lived side by side without walls, trust would have returned. But look where we are now,” Dodik said.

He stated that he believes Republika Srpska deserves independence.

“The people here understand very well what can and cannot be achieved through political means alone—not through revolutions,” Dodik emphasized.

According to him, if normal life hasn’t been possible in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the past 30 years, there’s no reason to think it will improve in the next 15.

“Instead of obstructing each other, why don’t we resolve our differences by peacefully going our separate ways?” Dodik asked.

He noted that the Dayton Agreement resolved the issue of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s division by establishing boundaries between the entities.

“Some may be dissatisfied with that, and we also believe we received less than we were entitled to. However, we have a border, and that is the guarantee that there will be no war,” said Dodik.

According to him, the Americans were wise enough at the time to confirm the inter-entity boundary.

“That border, beyond dividing the country, determines that entirely separate lives unfold on either side. Of course, the border can be either hard or soft—we’ll see what it will look like,” he added.

Dodik concluded that it is inevitable that the border will one day become an international boundary.

“Croats, Bosniaks, and Serbs always know exactly which side of the border they are on. The only question is whether or not we’ll have official border crossings. That line defines everything—land registry, education, values, way of life, integration, elections,” Dodik said.
