Strategic cooperation with Hungary is at the highest level, said the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, following a meeting with the deputy minister of foreign affairs and trade of Hungary, Levente Magyar.
“I have the exceptional honor and opportunity to host Levente Magyar on an official visit. In this way, we continue our strategic cooperation, working on a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the Government of Republika Srpska and the Government of Hungary, particularly in the areas of mining, metals, and ores, as well as within the wood processing sector,” Dodik stated.
He added that it is well known that Republika Srpska possesses some rare metals.
“A Swiss consortium has conducted research, and the key issue will be the cooperation between the Government of Republika Srpska and Hungary,” Dodik emphasized.
He expressed gratitude to Hungary for its complete understanding.
“Republika Srpska is a key factor, and discussions should be held with us, not about us, nor should solutions be imposed. Our cooperation continues and will persist through numerous projects,” Dodik concluded.
