Professor of constitutional law, Siniša Karan, stated that Republika Srpska will respond to any attempted coup, reflected in a potential verdict against the president of Srpska, with radical solutions that will bring fundamental changes to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Karan emphasized that for 30 years, well-known adversaries have sought to dismantle Republika Srpska, but in the end, they will dismantle Bosnia and Herzegovina instead.
He noted that the constitutional order and statehood of Republika Srpska have been continuously attacked, but stressed that no one is above the Constitution of Srpska and its institutions.
- “The Dayton framework represents fundamental changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but we are already living in an anti-Dayton BiH. Republika Srpska will have a decisive response to any court decision, as this court—along with the Constitutional Court, the Prosecutor’s Office, various Schmidts and so-called high representatives—has been distancing BiH from the state community that the three constituent peoples agreed upon and signed off on,” said Karan for ATV.
He further stressed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will protect the constitutional order of Republika Srpska and ensure the security of its citizens.
