The Serb member and chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, is in the United Arab Emirates, where she will participate in the World Government Summit in Dubai.
As part of her visit, a series of bilateral meetings with hosts and officials from countries attending this year’s summit have been scheduled, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
Cvijanović is attending the summit at the invitation of UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed.
The theme of the three-day World Government Summit, held from today until Thursday, February 13, is “Shaping Future Governments,” as stated on the summit’s website.
This gathering will bring together government representatives, international organizations, thinkers, and leaders from the private sector worldwide to foster international cooperation and identify innovative solutions for future challenges.
Cvijanović begins UAE visit with a friendly meeting
Cvijanović began her visit to the United Arab Emirates with a friendly meeting with Sheikh Talib Al Qasimi, during which they agreed that their next meeting will take place in Banja Luka.
Cvijanović stated that Sheikh Talib, a member of the ruling family in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, was, as always, an excellent host and a great conversation partner, with whom it was a pleasure to exchange views on many current and important topics.
This was especially related to investment opportunities and further strengthening cooperation with Ras Al Khaimah and the United Arab Emirates.
“We agreed that our next meeting will be in Banja Luka so that we can reciprocate with equally warm and cordial hospitality,” Cvijanović wrote on Instagram.
