President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that crimes similar to those committed by the Nazis, who were aided by domestic traitors in their genocidal attack on the Serb people, must never be allowed to happen again. He emphasized the importance of commemorating such crimes through various memorials.
“We must remind future generations of these historical atrocities through different memorials so that we can build a brighter future in peace and love,” Dodik told Politika on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
He noted that a memorial complex is being prepared in Gradina, along with a project that will testify to the suffering of Serbs, Jews, Roma, and all Slavs who perished in the region.
