The International Tourism Fair, starting today in Vienna, will showcase Republika Srpska’s tourism offer, focusing on skiing, rafting, canyoning, and other forms of active tourism that are of particular interest to Austrian tourists, according to the Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska.
The exhibition space will feature presentations from the tourist organizations of Banja Luka, Trebinje, Istočno Sarajevo, and Prijedor, as well as the Olympic Center “Jahorina,” Krajina House, Banja Vrućica, Terme “Ozren,” and the Hotel “Marriott.”
This is Austria’s largest tourism fair, attracting a significant number of Austrian tour operators. It hosts representatives from 70 countries, with over 700 exhibitors, and is expected to draw more than 150,000 visitors.
The Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska highlighted Austria as an important market due to its size and proximity.
“Tourists from Austria rank seventh in terms of overnight stays in Republika Srpska,” stated Sanela Šimun from the Tourist Organization.
The International Tourism Fair in Vienna will run until Sunday, January 19.
The representation of Republika Srpska’s tourism offer is organized in cooperation with the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Vienna and the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska.
