Prime Minister Radovan Višković stated that Republika Srpska is eternal and that the sacrifice of those who laid down their lives for its foundation and the freedom of the Serb people was not in vain.
- We began the celebration of Republika Srpska Day by laying wreaths at the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers of the Army of Republika Srpska, as they are the ones who defended freedom and gave their lives for the creation of Republika Srpska – said Višković.
He emphasized that their sacrifice was not in vain and assured that, as a representative of the institutions, he would do everything to ensure that it remains so.
Republika Srpska is eternal, whether some like it or not. We do not offend anyone or send insulting messages; we simply want to be respected, Višković stressed.
He added that everyone has the right to celebrate their significant dates within the framework of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that Srpska has the right to celebrate January 9—Republika Srpska Day—as its birthday.
