The Government of Republika Srpska and the Employers’ Union will continue working together to find the best solutions for improving the economic environment in Srpska. This was the key message from the conference “Challenges and the Future of Business”, held to mark the 20th anniversary of the Employers’ Union.
It was emphasized that these two social partners have, over the past challenging years, implemented measures that preserved the economy, increased employment in Srpska, and improved workers’ incomes.
“We hope that what lies ahead will be something we continue to work on together. How to overcome these crises coming from the EU and how, as soon as better times arrive, we can support the economy, workers, and the entire Republika Srpska to move forward on a growth trajectory,” said Zoran Škrebić, president of the Employers’ Union of Republika Srpska.
Radovan Višković, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, highlighted that Srpska has doubled its budget allocations for the economy in the 2025 budget.
“And this is not where we will stop. As I mentioned today, the budget is a framework for operations, but it can be revised at any moment. We will monitor the situation and respond accordingly. However, we will not act individually or arbitrarily but will work collectively,” Višković stated.
