The “Winter Days of Višegrad” will be held on December 29 and 30, offering a variety of activities, especially for the youngest visitors.
The opening ceremony will feature a performance by children from the “Neven” kindergarten, followed by various activities for kids. The musical segment will include performances by professors from the Music Academy in Istočno Sarajevo and Višegrad’s own Mirna Karabatak.
The event will officially be opened at 5 p.m. by the Mayor of Višegrad, Mladen Đurević.
The second day of the festival will feature performances by residents of the Home for Persons with Disabilities, students from the “Vuk Karadžić” Elementary School presenting “Winter Magic,” and students from the “Ivo Andrić” High School performing “Santa’s Workshop of Wonders.”
Throughout both days, visitors can enjoy a New Year’s market offering handmade crafts, souvenirs, and sweets.
There will also be mobile playrooms set up at one of the squares in Andrićgrad.
The “Winter Days of Višegrad” are organized by the Municipality of Višegrad and the “Ivo Andrić” Cultural Center, with support from “HE na Drini” and Andrićgrad.
