The Council of Ministers adopted decisions today on the allocation of grant funds to support fairs and other events and activities in BiH and abroad, announced the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac.
- This is an important and responsible measure by the Council of Ministers to support entrepreneurs from Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, helping them showcase their products in the best light both domestically and internationally – Košarac wrote on Instagram.
According to him, the decisions were developed following extensive consultations with relevant institutions in Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, as well as chambers of commerce.
- These are incentive measures aimed at assisting the domestic economic sector, in coordination with appropriate policies of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH – stated Košarac, who also serves as the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers.
He highlighted that the budget for these purposes was increased in the previous period, allocating 600,000 KM for domestic fairs and 300,000 KM for international fairs, with the aim of maintaining such financial support in 2025 as well.
- These funds will support events such as the Balkan Solar Summit in Banja Luka, the Energy Summit in Trebinje, and the Jahorina Economic Forum, demonstrating that Republika Srpska has the capacity to organize significant international conferences and fairs – added Košarac.
