Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, hosted a business delegation from Israel today in Banja Luka, led by Oren Shvil, a representative of the “Activ Group” corporation.
Representatives of the Israeli group expressed their interest in expanding their operations by launching production facilities in Republika Srpska.
Višković welcomed the potential investors, introducing them to the business environment in Republika Srpska, emphasizing its position as the most favorable in the region. He highlighted that local laws ensure foreign investors enjoy the same rights and obligations as domestic ones, supported by a highly stimulative tax policy and a straightforward process for registering new companies. Višković also noted that Srpska offers access to a vast consumer market and expressed satisfaction with the group’s intention to invest in the region.
Oren Shvil, representing “Activ Group,” thanked Višković for the reception and warm welcome. He presented his company’s operations and outlined plans to initiate production in Srpska. Shvil noted that his company is export-oriented and aims to enhance its business operations, recognizing Srpska as offering favorable conditions for investment.
The meeting was also attended by the president of the Banja Luka Regional Chamber of Commerce, Goran Račić, who accompanied the Israeli investors on visits to several towns with strong business potential.
