Matić: Kurti and Bećirović create crises aimed at destroying peace

Political scientist Filip Matić believes that the Prime Minister of the provisional Pristina institutions, Albin Kurti, the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, and others like them are merely “cogs” in a grand strategy of creating crises aimed at destroying peace and potentially igniting a new conflict in Europe, if not globally.

“Imagine the audacity required to deliberately ignore the will of one of the constituent peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to violate all principles of the political system and Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to invite an official of a pseudo-state unrecognized by Bosnia and Herzegovina on an official visit,” Matić said to SRNA, commenting on Kurti’s meeting with Presidency members Bećirović and Željko Komšić in Sarajevo.

Matić expressed hope that the situation would change not only from January with the new mandate of U.S. President Donald Trump but also in the future, with the calming of tensions among major global players.

“I hope we will return to respecting international regulations and, within Bosnia and Herzegovina, its domestic laws. Only then will we be able to provide proper analyses of events and figures,” Matić noted.

He added that such occurrences are difficult to explain to the general public, especially amidst actions like hosting officials from a non-recognized state, voting in the UN General Assembly without the Presidency’s consent, constant blockages, and interference by the U.S. ambassador and the OHR in internal matters.

Matić recalled instances of irregularities in party meetings in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as non-compliance with procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s institutions.

“The only accurate description we can provide is that this is externally orchestrated chaos,” Matić emphasized.

He explained that the change in the global order is something that the U.S. and the political West cannot allow to happen without complications, which is why it is often said that “the fires are everywhere, and hotspots surround us.”

Regarding Bosnia and Herzegovina, Matić pointed out that this is achieved in various ways, such as actions by the U.S. Embassy, the renewed discussion on property issues, and Kurti’s arrival—an Albanian politician from Serbia, a former convict, and a current usurper of institutions in Kosovo and Metohija.

He believes this is a deliberate provocation orchestrated by the same centers supporting both Bosniaks and usurpers from Kosovo.

“The most significant takeaway from this visit is that, as has been evident in recent months, Bosniaks will not respect institutions or laws but will act solely according to their own will, thereby completely destroying the existence of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Believing they are fighting for their Bosnia, they are, in fact, dismantling it,” Matić stressed.

On the other hand, he noted, this so-called serious, democratic, and ideal Bosnia is incapable of organizing a simple summit of leaders from Southeast Europe or the Western Balkans.

“This Bosnia cannot agree on fundamental issues vital for the functioning of the state because it does not want to protect the rights of its constituents. Instead, it aims to be unitaristic and oppress all those who are not part of the majority. Presumably, their mentors instruct them to act this way,” Matić concluded.

Kurti visited Sarajevo on Friday, December 6, where, in addition to meeting with Presidency members Komšić and Bećirović, he also met with the Federation’s Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and addressed a gathering organized by “Circle 99.”
