Nešić: Meeting with Kurti harmful to Bosnia and Herzegovina

The meeting between the Bosniak and Croat members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić, with the Prime Minister of the provisional Pristina institutions, Albin Kurti, in Sarajevo, was harmful to Bosnia and Herzegovina and represents yet another act of populism and provocation, stated Nenad Nešić, the President of DNS.

Nešić emphasized that the borders and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina can only be preserved by protecting the borders of the Republic of Serbia, according to a statement from DNS.

“Never in the Balkans has one border been broken without others falling like dominoes. If Komšić and Bećirović had even an ounce of political responsibility toward Bosnia and Herzegovina, they would defend Serbia’s territorial integrity more fervently than Serbia itself,” Nešić said.

He argued that the meeting could not have been official, as its essence and nature contradict the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Instead, it could have been a meeting of some NGOs financed by the deep state, such as “enthusiasts of illegitimacy” or “dedicated Serb haters.”

“What even connects Komšić and Kurti apart from a lack of legitimacy? The number of Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina who recognize the seizure of Kosovo is equal to the number of Croats who recognize Komšić as their member of the Presidency—none!” Nešić stated.

Regarding Denis Bećirović, he added, the only common ground with Kurti is their confirmed hatred toward Serbs.

“That hatred is their only activity and political program. No vision, no future—just a policy of deepening conflicts,” Nešić concluded.
