The Chairman of the Board of the Russian Historical Society, Ruslan Grigorievich Gaguev, emphasized the importance of opposing historical falsifications and announced a major conference on the Dayton Peace Agreement in collaboration with the academic community of Republika Srpska.
“Everything must be based on real facts, which is why, together with the historical community of Republika Srpska, we are already discussing plans for the near future. Among other things, we are planning to organize and hold a major conference on the Dayton Peace Agreement next year,” said Gaguev in Pale.
Gaguev stated that the goal is to bring new documents into academic circulation, which could provide the world with additional insights into the current political elites making decisions.
“I am confident that we have the capacity to provide an objective perspective on these events,” Gaguev underlined.
He stressed that, regarding this topic, exclusive reliance on archival documents is necessary.
