Preparations for another unforgettable “Banja Luka Winter” are in full swing, ensuring that Banja Luka will once again be the regional center for New Year’s celebrations.
This year, in addition to a rich holiday decoration, new parks will be adorned, becoming essential parts of the winter magic, to the delight of residents and tourists alike.
“We’re preparing even more surprises and attractions for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve. Our goal is clear: to outdo ourselves each year,” said Mayor Draško Stanivuković.
The Organizing Committee for the “Banja Luka Winter” festival is working to make the city an essential destination for countless tourists who traditionally flock to Banja Luka in the winter.
“This year, Banja Luka promises an unforgettable ‘Banja Luka Winter’ to all tourists choosing to spend the holiday season in the city by the Vrbas River. A rich program, holiday ambiance, and winter magic await all visitors – get ready for a memorable experience,” said Milada Šukalo, the mayor’s advisor, on behalf of the Organizing Committee.
The City Development Agency, in collaboration with the city, announced that the popular Zimzobal winter market will open on December 1, 2024, in Petar Kočić Park and will run through January 5, 2025. Additionally, the ice rink in Krajina Square and other activities for children will remain open throughout January.
