On November 15, at 8:00 p.m., the City Theater of Gradiška will present the play titled “(An)ointed” at the National Theater in East Sarajevo.
The play, written by Zoran Todorović and directed by Slobodan Perišić, features music composed by Petar Bilbija.
With some people, we identify so deeply that we are willing to sacrifice ourselves, even take another’s life. But who are we and what are we when we strip away all those beliefs, prejudices, and symbols?
It is often said that individual identity is an answer to the question: “Who am I?” However, we witness that every identity is subject to change depending on feelings, beliefs, and orientations. This brings forth a question we can ask ourselves: “Is there something unchangeable within us?”
What is the foundation of the truth that says: “I am”? This is one of the key themes explored in this profound production by GP Gradiška.
Cast: Aleksandar Stojković Pixi (father, professor, playwright, director), Snježana Mišić (mother, wife, pharmacist), Pavle Pavić (son, unemployed painter), Božana Kukilo (daughter, high school student, father’s favorite), Admir Mešić (postman, rakija enthusiast), Isidora Radulović (Aleksa’s girlfriend, lawyer), and Bojan Kolopić as Father Vasilije.
