Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó emphasized at the opening of the Jahorina Invest Forum that national interests are the key to managing their country successfully.
“Hungary’s example should serve as a guide for both Srpska and BiH. For that, a significant amount of courage is also needed,” stated Szijjártó.
Szijjártó added that we should take pride in our nation and never relinquish national sovereignty.
“We pursue what aligns with our national interests, and when it does not, we engage in discussion,” Szijjártó noted.
He recalled that Hungary’s economic growth began in 2010, as prior to that, it was nearly destroyed.
“We implemented two crucial strategic projects. In Hungary, the lowest tax on labor is 15% on personal income and 18% on corporate profits, which is unique in Europe,” Szijjártó said.
He expressed his gratitude for being invited to participate in the Invest Forum for the second time.
