After a European defeat in Iceland, Borac players face new obligations in the domestic championship. Mladen Žižović’s squad will host Igman tomorrow at 6 PM at the City Stadium in Banja Luka.
Young Borac player Enver Kulašin previewed the upcoming match, first reflecting on the loss to Vikingur.
“There’s regret over the loss to Vikingur. We weren’t at the necessary level, especially in the first half, and the weather conditions didn’t help us either. Unfortunately, all of this contributed to the defeat, although we had a few good chances in the second half. I’m confident that we could have achieved a positive result if we’d scored in the second half, but unfortunately, we didn’t manage that. Nevertheless, we still have everything in our hands, and I believe we can secure advancement in the next three matches,” said Kulašin.
He emphasized that Igman’s current form should not deceive them and that they need to stay focused and concentrated from the first minute.
“We didn’t have much time to rest. On Saturday, we already started preparing for Igman, and our goal in this match is to secure another victory. The championship is our priority, and it’s our duty to triumph on our home field. Igman may be in a challenging position, but that won’t fool us. From the first minute, we need to be focused, take control of the game, and give our all to win. I hope our fans will support us, and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans who were in Reykjavik. Hats off for the journey they made and the songs that didn’t stop for ninety minutes,” said Kulašin.
