Vidović: Srpska is financially stable

Despite significant political and economic pressures, Republika Srpska remains financially stable, said Minister of Finance Zora Vidović in the show “Drugi ugao.”

Vidović stated that direct revenues have increased by 14 percent compared to last year, and total revenues have surpassed planned figures by 2 percent. She added that numerous projects are currently being implemented in Srpska, proving that its economic environment is the most favorable in the region.

This, according to Vidović, disproves opposition claims that Srpska is on the verge of bankruptcy.

“At present, Republika Srpska is realizing around 2.8 billion KM in investments. Projections for next year show that this amount will increase by one billion,” Vidović emphasized.

She noted that significant investments have been made in the healthcare sector in recent years.

“When it comes to road infrastructure, negotiations and financing arrangements for the complete project up to Rača will be finalized by the end of the year. In the energy sector, we are working intensively. Republika Srpska certainly leads in energy investments compared to the surrounding region and even much larger neighboring countries,” Vidović concluded.
