Today, on the Day of Serb Unity and the National Flag, as we proudly watch our tricolor waving, we feel the strength of unity and freedom, and see in it all our ancestors who laid down their lives protecting it so that we could live in freedom, said Darko Banjac, President of the People’s Party of Srpska (NPS).
“In these challenging times, it’s important to remember what makes us unique: our unity, customs, and traditions handed down by our ancestors. Their courage, struggle, and love for the homeland should inspire us to preserve our identity and together fight to leave our children the same legacy we inherited.
Upholding the unity of our people is a duty and an eternal vow for every Serb, wherever they may be. Let this day encourage us to carry our flag with pride, spreading the spirit of tradition, solidarity, and patriotism in our daily lives. United, we build a future that reflects our dreams and ideals.
I congratulate all citizens of Serbia and Republika Srpska on the Day of Serb Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag! Long live the Serb people, and long live our culture, faith, and tradition!” Banjac concluded.
