The Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović, and the head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Office in BiH, Manuela Nesl, affirmed in today’s meeting in Banja Luka that the EBRD is committed to continuing financial support and implementing strategic infrastructure projects in Republika Srpska.
Čubrilović and Nesl, who was on a farewell visit, discussed the ongoing cooperation on current infrastructure projects in the areas of road and rail transport, with a focus on the construction of the Foča-Šćepan Polje main road, according to a statement from the ministry.
The participants agreed that the collaboration between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska and the EBRD has been highly successful, and they expressed confidence that this successful cooperation will continue in the future.
Čubrilović thanked Nesl for her exceptional contribution during her tenure as the head of the EBRD Office in BiH and wished her much success in her future work and professional endeavors.
