The 13th Plum, Fruit Brandy, and Honey Fair in Ugljevik brought together 80 exhibitors from Republika Srpska, Serbia, and Montenegro.
High-quality domestic products were showcased, reflecting years of experience and investment in fruit growing that withstands various challenges. A total of 231 samples of brandy and liqueurs were under scrutiny.
The plum, the “queen” of the Majevica orchards, had a record harvest this year. One-third of the total production, around 2,000 tons, was exported to markets in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Slovenia.
