The football team of Banja Luka’s Borac played to a goalless draw against Ferencváros in Budapest in the first leg of the Europa League play-offs.
Mladen Žižović’s brave and determined squad demonstrated desire and commitment in front of a packed “Groupama Arena” in Budapest, putting themselves in a strong position ahead of the return match in Banja Luka to achieve the greatest result in the club’s history – reaching the group stage of the Europa League.
In the event of an unsuccessful outcome for Borac in the two-legged tie against Ferencváros, the Banja Luka club is guaranteed a spot in the group stage of this year’s UEFA Europa Conference League, thanks to their victory over Ki Klaksvik from the Faroe Islands in the previous round.
The return match between Borac and Ferencváros will take place at the City Stadium in Banja Luka on August 29th at 7:00 PM.
