The Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers, Nenad Nešić, today called on all security services and prosecutors to swiftly work on resolving cases such as the recent threatening messages sent to several email addresses of the Government of Republika Srpska.
He emphasized that by doing so, a clear message will be sent that such actions will not be tolerated.
- “We are under attack from various radical elements, including radical Islamic groups, and I believe that this will continue to happen in the future,” Nešić stated.
Commenting on the recent crisis in the village of Zovi Do near Nevesinje, Nešić expressed satisfaction that security agencies are prepared to respond to any challenge, including armed incidents.
He noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina, given its aspiration to be and its status as part of Europe, must also be part of collective security.
Speaking about the migrant crisis, Nešić highlighted that it affects the entire Balkans, not just BiH and Republika Srpska, and that no one is exempt from its impact.
Nešić pointed out that BiH and Srpska have become a transit route due to their location on the EU border.
