The threatening message sent to the email addresses of several officials in the Government of Republika Srpska is part of a broader scenario targeting Srpska and a package of pressures intended to create “panic,” stated Prime Minister Radovan Višković for RTRS.
Višković emphasized that the operator from which the message was sent is German, but the message itself originated from Priština.
- “Our services are doing their part, and those who received these messages are not paying too much attention to them. This is not an isolated incident. This is something directed towards Srpska, part of a scenario being orchestrated by the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, where all these attacks are coordinated. I believe this message is essentially part of that package of attacks,” Višković said.
Višković urged the people of Srpska to trust their institutions because only they can guarantee the safety of citizens in these areas.
- “We have a truly skilled and competent team in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and we will decode this as well. Our police will certainly identify all those involved. We’ve done this before. You could see in the media today how certain opposition figures in Srpska are already anticipating some extraordinary elections, pushing for the accelerated and concluded trial of the President of Srpska, and trying to resolve issues in a way that cannot be done legally, namely through elections,” Višković stated.
Višković concluded by noting that “this may be a slightly modified method of the color revolutions that have been taking place around the world over the past several years.”
