As part of the Trebinje Cultural Summer, and organized by the Trebinje Photo and Cinema Club, the traditional exhibition “Foto BiH 2024” has opened at the Museum of Herzegovina. The best artistic photographs in Bosnia and Herzegovina for this year were showcased to the Trebinje audience.
The regular annual exhibition of artistic photographs featured 53 authors from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. A total of 450 photographs were submitted, but the selector, Radoje Elez, selected 140 color and monochrome photographs for display.
The motifs vary widely, with many landscapes, emotions, portraits, and street photographs, and Trebinje remains one of the most inspiring cities to the artistic eye.
Banja Luka photographer Vladimir Tadić won the first prize for monochrome photography, while Damir Boras was awarded the best color photograph.
In the color photography category, the second place went to Trebinje’s Marijana Miletić Hajrović, and the third place to Milka Risović. In the monochrome category, the second place was awarded to Stanislav Ljakić, and the third place to Dino Hadžidervišević, with many photographs receiving commendations.
The photographs will be on display at the Museum of Herzegovina for the next ten days.
