Pavlović: Potential continuation of pressures

The Americans’ current forceful attempts, including economic measures to suffocate Republika Srpska, will backfire, just as the bombing of Serbia and the seizure of Kosovo and Metohija did, stated Dušan Pavlović, Director of the Center for Socio-Political Research of Republika Srpska, in an interview with Srna.

• The pressure that Srpska is currently enduring will likely increase over the next six months to a year, but the leadership of Republika Srpska has proven that we will go all the way and will not yield – emphasized Pavlović.

He added that this is now the “culmination of everything that began in 1991 and 1992.”

• This completes the narrative of Serb consolidation and positioning, which will benefit other surrounding nations as well – said Pavlović.

He noted that the United States is losing its hegemonic position globally, which will also lead to reduced pressures.

Pavlović also pointed out that the situation in the United States is “boiling” and that the possibility of a civil war cannot be ruled out, suggesting that the U.S., due to global geopolitical shifts, will focus more on the Pacific region than on the Balkans.

• This is evident from the nervousness of Bosniak politics and the anti-Serbian project founded by the SDA, which ideologically belongs to the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ movement – added Pavlović.

According to him, the U.S. administration behaves like a hegemon, as if it is above international law and the security structure established with the founding of the UN.

• For the past 30 years, which we Serbs have felt acutely, they have violated all norms of international law, including conventions that define the conduct of ambassadors in specific countries, particularly in BiH. This is a continuation of their strategic interests, in which they have lost all sense of diplomatic code and have exposed their brute force – said Pavlović.

He compared this behavior to the American phase of conquering the Wild West, during which genocide was committed against the indigenous population, asserting that the U.S. wants to completely control all areas where Serbs live through NATO, using any means necessary.

• What they are doing now shows that they are losing control and realizing that their time is running out due to global changes. Their current forceful actions, including economic suffocation attempts, will backfire on them, just as the bombing of Serbia and the seizure of Kosovo and Metohija did – Pavlović concluded.
