The world is in chaos and that is evident, but we have managed to maintain the importance of Republika Srpska, said President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, in RTRS morning program.
He pointed out that nothing is the same as it was 10-20 years ago, and that is not good.
“From Ukraine to Gaza, issues in the South China Sea, Taiwan, and China. All of this affects our region. Europe started with supplying blankets to refugees in Ukraine and ended up with long-range artillery. Europe today does not have a single strong leader with authority, like Angela Merkel not so long ago,” Dodik noted.
He emphasized that Russia had to defend itself.
“Look at the situation with Crimea. The West today defends communist borders. The West always hides its true intentions. The question is what we would gain by imposing sanctions on Russia. We would lose a great friend and face even greater and more difficult demands on the other hand. We can always count on two permanent members of the Security Council out of five possible ones. Those are China and Russia. Is that not enough?” Dodik said.
He mentioned that Republika Srpska is much more known now than before.
“We have excellent relations with Azerbaijan, correct relations with Turkey, to whom we managed to explain that things are not exactly as Sarajevo presents them. The West considers us people of lesser value, those who only cause problems,” Dodik stated.
Dodik pointed out that there is a great struggle for raw materials, particularly those that Europe does not have.
“The goal of the USA is for the old continent to be completely dependent on America. Trump was right when he said that Biden’s stupid policy has contributed to a permanent marriage between Russia and China. Biden’s withdrawal will certainly bring new divisions in the USA,” Dodik concluded.
