The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that the assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump is a result of the media and other political campaigns against him.
Dodik mentioned that such a campaign demonizes and tries to present the individual as an ultimate evil that needs to be removed, which led to the assassination attempt.
He emphasized that America is clearly a divided society.
“However, it is still a powerful and strong country, and some believe that the current dominance should be maintained and attempt to control other countries. They are aware that the world is changing and that the unipolar world is being replaced by multiple centers of power,” said Dodik.
He recalled that he wished Trump success in the elections because it is evident that his political platform and program contribute to making the world feel safer.
Dodik pointed out that during Trump’s presidency, the U.S. did not start any new wars, which speaks to his commitments.
Dodik expressed confidence in America’s ability to maintain a stable society.
