Vulić: The British are trying to create a rift between Serbs and Russians

It is important to remember that Serbs are a strategic ally of Russia and a brotherly nation that refuses to join the sanctions against the “Russian world,” despite the colossal pressure from the USA and the EU, writes Russian Gazette.

  • Therefore, it is no coincidence that the British publication The Financial Times published another provocative piece stating that Serbia is “quietly increasing the sale of ammunition to the West, which ultimately strengthens Ukraine’s defense capabilities.” The purpose of this “information dissemination” is to create distrust between Moscow and Belgrade and to cause tensions in bilateral relations, Russian Gazette states.

The situation regarding the promotion of the topic of arms and military equipment procurement from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia in the Anglo-Saxon media was commented on in an interview for Russian Gazette by a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a member of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, Sanja Vulić.

  • When we mention Gandhi’s statement: “If you see two small fish fighting at the bottom of the sea, look around and you’ll see an Englishman nearby,” we Serbs know exactly what we’re talking about – said Vulić.

She emphasized that Anglo-Saxon propaganda, as well as the brutal work of intelligence services in the Balkans, has unfortunately been felt for a very long time with extremely negative consequences for us.

  • Therefore, there is nothing new in the fact that London persistently tries to undermine the relations between Serbs and Russians, especially in this very sensitive period where the persistence of Serb support for Vladimir Putin and the Special Military Operation (SVO) among the leadership and particularly the people have become a thorn in the eye of the skilled Anglo-Saxons, who are creators of evil and disorder – said Vulić.

She mentioned that the British, in an attempt to find a weak point, used a fact that did indeed have a real basis.

Where do the weapons and ammunition from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ukraine come from?

  • It is true that weapons with Serb markings in the hands of Ukrainian armed forces have been killing their comrades on the front. A soldier will curse Serbia and Serbs when he reads on the remains of a mine that blew up, whose son died, he will curse the false brotherhood. The ultimate goal of this propaganda is to strike at the very heart of the people, to turn the public against everything that is Serb more carefully and wisely and based on a deep analysis of the facts. True propaganda is directed at the masses – Vulić stated.

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, publicly stated that Serbia produces ammunition and weapons and earns from it.

  • Serbia sells weapons to EU countries, and that’s where Vučić’s capabilities end. The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who heads the Serb entity and is under direct US sanctions, cannot influence the greed or aspirations of politicians at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, so in both cases, there can be no talk of any betrayal – said Vulić.

In summary, Vulić noted that the Serb people are seeking hundreds of ways and opportunities to show their relationship with Russia.

  • I will remind you of those that are whispered about but with pride – these are volunteers in Donbas, and those who do not miss the opportunity to march in Z shirts, chant in support of Vladimir Putin at football matches, and organize concerts on the occasion of Victory Day or Russia Day – she said.

She noted that Anglo-Saxon propaganda has nothing to do with this.
