Everything is ready for the event “Pentecost Tuesday,” through which Banja Luka will celebrate the great Christian holiday of Pentecost on Tuesday, June 25, honoring tradition and customs.
The holiday of Pentecost is celebrated for three days and was traditionally marked in the city on the Vrbas River in a customary way. With the aim of preserving the old tradition, the City of Banja Luka and the city market “Tržnica” will again this year prepare a rich program that all citizens and visitors can enjoy.
In addition to the festive ritual and an appropriate program, which will take place at the Nova Market from 1:00 PM, all visitors at the Christ the Savior Cathedral at 5:00 PM can expect a rich cultural and artistic program, including a parade of carriages.
The City of Banja Luka invites all citizens and visitors to join and be part of this unique event, which will revive the traditions of bygone times once again this year.
