The new package of American sanctions today is yet another confirmation of what we have been pointing out for a long time: the dismantling and eventual abolition of Republika Srpska by certain forces led by America, said the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković.
“It is disheartening that someone is trying to achieve their political interests by hampering the economic activities of certain companies and suppressing media freedoms,” Višković emphasized, reacting to the imposition of American sanctions on seven entities, as well as the owner of the Infinity Group, Đorđe Đurić, and the general director of the company “Kaldera,” Milenko Čičić.
He stated that this is nothing more than another pressure on the leadership of Republika Srpska, aimed at slowing down economic activity and weakening the political stance of Srpska’s leadership through economic pressure and direct impact on businessmen.
“Neither of these will happen; we have shown that we know how to handle such things, and that the vast majority of the world does not think like those who impose sanctions on us,” said Višković.
He stressed that this is not a display of power but a historical example of injustice directed against Republika Srpska and its independent policies, where the source of decision-making lies not in certain embassies in Sarajevo but among the people.
