The highway is a major project for both Serbia and Republika Srpska, as well as for Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Miloš Vucevic, Prime Minister of Serbia, after the ceremonial welcome at the Rača border crossing of delegations from Republika Srpska and Serbia, ahead of the All-Serb Assembly which will be held tomorrow in Belgrade.
“This will primarily ease the lives of citizens. I hope that our Turkish partners, who are engaged in the construction work along with Serbian companies and companies from Srpska, will meet the deadlines, as a representative of the company confirmed that the entire highway from Kuzmin to Sremska Rača will be completed by the end of the year. This means that we will have a direct connection from the Belgrade-Zagreb highway to the crossing at Sremska Rača. The integrated border crossing on the Serbian side is also important,” Vucevic emphasized.
The delegations from Srpska and Serbia inspected the work on the bridge and the highway section from Kuzmin to Rača, which is being built and financed by Serbia. This will connect Serbia and Republika Srpska via the Belgrade-Kuzmin-Rača highway.
