The Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović, stated that the main goal of the recent visit to Chinese companies was to involve them in the development of railway traffic in Republika Srpska.
He also announced that Srpska continues to expand its network of highways on its territory.
Regarding these types of projects, Minister Čubrilović highlighted that Srpska increasingly negotiates with Chinese companies.
He explained, while appearing on the show Telerin, that these projects are completed much faster and more efficiently with Chinese companies, primarily due to the complicated decision-making procedures at the BiH level and the World Bank’s stance on projects in Republika Srpska.
- Prijedor – Banja Luka, we will finalize everything around this in September. We have some obligations regarding property relations that fall on Republika Srpska. As for them, it could be much faster. Nothing is disputed, it has been accepted by the bank and their insurance. The Vukosavlje – Brčko project, as I am informed, will have a finalized financial structure next week, Čubrilović said.
