Yesterday’s session of the Constitutional Court reveals the complete failure of Bosnia and Herzegovina, wrote the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik on his X account.
Dodik stated that “those who are trying to pursue a policy based on force have lost any sense of legal procedure.”
- Generally, it is expected that the Constitutional Court acts as a legal body, but it has long since become a political one. The decisions being made that abolish everything indicate that they have lost their way and are no longer serving to defend the Dayton BiH or its constitution. They are creating a new BiH that serves only one nation’s interest, and they will clearly lose this battle – emphasized Dodik.
Dodik reminded that “Republika Srpska has long expressed its stance on the Constitutional Court and will continue to act accordingly.”
- The fact that they have accepted to work and violate their own rules, which state that only domestic judges can be members, presidents, and vice presidents of the Court, faced its collapse yesterday with the German national being the vice president of the Constitutional Court. Adding to that the fact that a German national is also the false high representative, it shows what Germany plans to do here. I think they have tangled themselves up, and their decisions no longer hold the power they once did. Any decision that cannot be implemented is meaningless. What they have done is completely unimplementable and should be viewed as such. It is a classic example of undermining the Dayton Agreement – stated Dodik.
Dodik warned that “no international decision has been made in a long time like this one by the Constitutional Court, which undermines the Dayton Agreement.”
- The Americans, through their ambassador Murphy, claim that no American official has said that Republika Srpska should be destroyed, yet they act on it every day. They think people are naive and don’t see what’s happening. Behind these Constitutional Court decisions is evidently the voluntarism of Murphy and other ambassadors, German and British, in BiH. These decisions almost paralyze BiH, taking it off the European path. They are primarily anti-European decisions and are not in line with Republika Srpska’s efforts to follow the European path – concluded Dodik.
