Lawyer Miodrag Stojanović stated on RTRS’s Morning Program that he believes there are no conditions, and that the deadlines have expired, for filing a revision of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s lawsuit against Serbia.
“They need to find new circumstances and facts, and even after the adoption of such a resolution on Srebrenica, that condition has not been met,” emphasized Stojanović.
He pointed out that any serious lawyer knows that this revision will not succeed.
“They experienced defeat after the last request for revision, so it would be problematic to experience defeat again from both a legal and political standpoint,” said Stojanović.
He mentioned that he is not sure that the background of the Srebrenica resolution is to create assumptions for a revision to occur.
“The reason is obvious, and that is the polarization of the world community and everything that is happening in Gaza. Also, it’s Germany’s frustration over one individual who presents himself as the High Representative and due to Republika Srpska’s refusal to accept his decisions,” concluded Stojanović.
