Dodik: It is not true that there is no legal basis for separation

No one expected the Delegation of the European Union to issue a statement, but since they did, they should have explained whether what the Muslims did was in accordance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and why their ambassador, violating the Constitution, voted for the resolution without a consensus from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, wrote the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, on his X account.

Dodik questioned, “What is that if not a blatant violation of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina?”

“When they say there is no legal basis for separation, that is not true. There is a legal basis since Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are signatories to the annexes of the Dayton Peace Agreement, so the EU Delegation should stop making false claims. In the end, they can keep their stance on the European perspective to themselves,” Dodik stated.
