Višković: The government will draft an agreement on peaceful separation

A session of the Government of Republika Srpska was held in Srebrenica. Prime Minister Radovan Višković announced that the Government will draft an agreement on peaceful separation within the next 30 days, which will be sent to the Federation of BiH.

“This is not secession, peaceful separation is not secession,” the Prime Minister stated.

Višković said that the session discussed the current situation regarding the resolution on Srebrenica, which will be considered today at the UN General Assembly.

He emphasized that the UN General Assembly is attempting to impose the thesis of genocide in Srebrenica.

“Today, they are trying to create a resolution in the UN about the alleged genocide committed by Serbs, and from tomorrow, as they say in the Federation of BiH, we will be labeled as a ‘genocidal people.’ We reject such a thesis and will never accept it,” Višković said.

He noted that it is disheartening that Germany is proposing a resolution on “genocide,” given that it is a country that committed genocide.

“Is Srebrenica being equated with Auschwitz and Jasenovac?” Višković asked.

He stated that the Government, at this regular session, also reviewed the information on the progress of the project to establish the “Guber” Special Hospital in Srebrenica.

The session was attended by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, ministers from Republika Srpska in the Council of Ministers, as well as mayors from the Birač and Podrinje areas.
