The aim of the Srebrenica resolution is to demonize one nation of the former Yugoslavia and undermine the Dayton Agreement, stated Russia’s representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya.
Nebenzya declared that “the world witnessed a sad chapter at the UN today, where many countries, led by Germany, decided to abuse the powers of the UN General Assembly.”
“It is not surprising that the resolution was adopted without consensus, by vote, and that there were more countries that did not support it than those that did,” said Nebenzya.
