President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, announced that an agreement on peaceful separation will be proposed within the next 30 days.

“Today, we are initiating a formal decision to seek peaceful separation. We will propose that political jurisdictions related to the entities be clarified first, while preserving and maintaining the current economic functioning model. Over the next few years, we will adapt this to a model of peaceful separation,” Dodik said in Bratunac.

He stated that the Serb people can no longer live in the current BiH and that what the Bosniaks did with the Srebrenica resolution was illegal and disregarded the Serbs.

Dodik reminded that the BiH Presidency did not discuss this issue, and without the decision of this body, an initiative cannot be launched at the UN.

Dodik added that it is no surprise that the UN, influenced by the Americans, is doing this, noting that Serbs were bombed twice without a UN Security Council decision.
