Two-thirds of the global population did not support the Srebrenica resolution, which clearly indicates the situation, said Željka Cvijanović, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, in a special broadcast on RTRS.

She emphasized that the majority of countries did not support the resolution.

“It is evident that a large number of countries pointed out the fact that this resolution came about without consensus. I sent three letters. I warned that constitutional procedures and the Dayton Agreement were violated, and that the resolution was prepared in secret,” said Cvijanović.

She noted that many countries recognized that the initiators of the resolution were those who had committed terrible crimes.

“This is not the number the sponsors and co-sponsors hoped for. Three countries even withdrew. Vučić’s speech revealed what was happening behind the scenes. There was pressure on countries, preparations were made in secrecy. The threats went as far as halting projects,” said Cvijanović.
