Citizens gather for a new protest in Podgorica; Montenegro against the resolution on Srebrenica

Following yesterday’s “Stop the Betrayal” protest held in front of the Government building in Podgorica, organized due to the announced vote of the local regime for the resolution on Srebrenica, citizens are gathering again today.

At the protest, the attendees included Nikola Jovanović, head of the citizen group list Budva Our City, Goran Danilović, president of United Montenegro, Vladimir Dobričanin, a member of the Montenegrin Parliament and the presidency of UCG, Milivoje Brković, president of Free Montenegro, Vladislav Dajković, as well as members of SCG Boban Radović and Marko Darmanović, president of True Montenegro, Marko Milačić, and many others.

“By submitting the proposal for the resolution on genocide in Srebrenica, this government, headed by Milojko Spajić, has crudely shown that it does not respect the victims of the Serbian people and nullifies all the values of our three-decade struggle. We do not accept the continuation of the servile policy traced by Milo Đukanović, and today continued by others. Our national duty is to resist yet another attempt to impose collective guilt on us as a people,” said the organizers of the gathering.

The Government of Montenegro has decided to vote for the resolution on Srebrenica at the UN, proposed by Germany and Rwanda.
