The trial against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, Miloš Lukić, will continue before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, May 22, due to their non-compliance with the decisions of Christian Schmidt.

At the previous hearing on April 29, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the defense did not accept Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement as evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it was a “document” downloaded from the UN website and translated into “Bosnian.”

Judge Sena Uzunović requested that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina submit Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement in English with an adequate translation.

Uzunović also rejected the acceptance of 30 newspaper articles as evidence, emphasizing that only original documents, certified copies, and copies can be accepted as evidence.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented as evidence copies of Christian Schmidt’s decisions downloaded from the OHR website, which annulled the decisions of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, decisions that did not accept Schmidt’s decisions, as well as those on the non-recognition of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Lukić’s lawyer, Miljkan Pucar, stated that, according to the Criminal Procedure Code, only originals or certified copies can be accepted as valid documents, and that these decisions neither have signatures nor seals, and therefore cannot be accepted.

The continuation of the trial is scheduled for 1:00 PM, as announced on the website of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
