Vučić: Heading to New York to oppose Srebrenica resolution

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, stated that he will go to New York once again to address the UN General Assembly and urge all countries not to vote for that resolution.

Vučić said that the most powerful Western powers, which stood behind the Srebrenica resolution, do not know what problem they are in due to Serbia’s engagement, as there may be fewer votes for the resolution in the UN.

  • They don’t know what to do with the resolution supported by the greatest powers. Little Serbia will fight for its honor and dignity until the last moment. A small Serbia will fight for its name and surname, while respecting the victims of the Bosniaks, without offending anyone – Vučić stated.

He said that Serbia faces tough battles in the next 10 days.

  • When they started initiatives to call our people genocidal, and then for days they deceive us about the goal of that, our job is to fight for our country, and don’t mind that Serbia is more important to us than anything else. We will not give our Serbia to anyone and for anything in the world. So we will oppose you in New York and in Brussels and wherever you want to abolish the Serbian people – Vučić emphasized.

According to him, they thought that little Serbia would not dare to oppose them and when they say that it must agree with the resolution and with everything they demand, because they are great, and Serbia is small.

  • They thought we would bow our heads like some 20 years ago. We said that we know how great they are, but we also know that there is no greater sanctuary than our Serbia, and therefore we will oppose you – Vučić said.
